If you have a sat nav the post code is KA19 7JS. This will take you to Crawfordston Farm, the cottage is on the other side of the road, about 200m away. At the end of the lane where the cottage is located is a tree with a sign saying Pinmerry. If you can see this sign, you can see the cottage.
By car from the north: take the M77 southbound from Glasgow, continue along the A77 until Minishant. Just after, turn left onto B7045 sign posted Kirkmichael and Straiton. Turn left after crossroads (B724) onto an unclassified single-track road. Crawfordston Cottage is the first property on the left, about 1.5 miles, just after Barwheys.
By car from the south: take the M6 northbound, turn onto the A75, immediately after the border and continue to Crocketford (just after Dumfries), turn right along the B712 (look out for the magnificent red kites) at the T junction, turn right along the A713, continue northwards and at Patna, turn left, crossing the River Doon to Kirkmichael. In Kirkmichael, turn right just after the Church up a single track road (Dalrymple Road), just before the top of the hill turn left for approximately one mile, after a sharp corner at Crawfordston Farm the cottage will be in view.
By train: the nearest station is Maybole; taxi numbers are Hunters 01655 882320 or Hannah’s 01655 883330 or Maybole Taxis 01655 59 59 59. If you have any problems please call us beforehand and we will collect you if possible.
By Bus: Crawfordston Cottage is not on a bus route but there are several to Maybole, only 3 miles away, or the 361 goes to Kirkmichael, just under 3 miles away. Please ring if you intend to travel by bus and we will do out utmost to collect you and take you to the cottage.
